*The degradation of survey systems such as home-visit survey and mail survey has become apparent: the accuracy of responses themselves together with the lower response derives not high accuracy on basic figures such as the trip generating ratio.
In this panel discussion, after clarifying the methodologies for traffic demand forecast again from the perspectives of short- and long-term, and wide- and narrow-geographical area, current issues on the data necessary for demand forecast as well as the methodologies for collecting those data were to be presented for discussion on the possibility of the PP data.
